Using essential oils for pain has become increasingly popular. Those that are best for relieving joint pain are as follows: clove, ginger, rosemary, peppermint, lavender and marjoram.

Ginger essential oil for pain

The essential oil is traditionally added to massage oil, especially in cases of arthritis and painful conditions caused by cold. Ginger is a warm, stimulating oil that increases circulation. It smells like powdered ginger with pepper and bitterness.

Marjoram essential oil for pain

Marjoram Oil relaxes tense muscles after exercise and is supportive of the nervous system. marjoram oil reduces the pain associated with colds, fevers, inflammation, overexertion of muscles, toothaches, headaches and numerous other sources.

It efficiently relieves spasm in the respiratory system and intestines, and muscular spasms in the limbs. It also helps to cure convulsions, pulled muscles, cramps and spasmodic cholera that are caused from uncontrollable spasms.

 5 drops peppermint
 3 drops ginger

 1 tbsp carrier oil
